![]() The new DC labor intern networking project will offer its first networking opportunity this Wednesday, as area labor interns are invited to a special Washington Worker’s Walking Tour from 9:30am to 12:30pm. “From the Labor Hall of Fame to Joe Hill’s ashes, worker’s history is around just about every corner in our nation’s capitol, if you know where to look,” says Metro Washington Council Union Cities Coordinator Chris Garlock, who will lead the tour. Interns at area unions or social justice organizations are welcome to attend; email [email protected] by noon Tuesday, June 2 to sign up. There is no charge for the tour.
