![]() This year’s DC LaborFest launches on Friday, May 1, with a full day of labor arts, film, music and history events. The AFL-CIO will host a LABOR FILM POSTER EXHIBIT and a free noontime DC LABOR FILMFEST PREVIEW SCREENING; at 12:30p a wreath will be laid at the MOTHER JONES MEMORIAL in Silver Spring; University of Maryland Hornbake Library’s AFL-CIO Archives will host a LABOR HISTORY WIKIPEDIA EDIT-A-THON and RECEPTION & TOUR in the afternoon, and then at 7p, SAG-AFTRA, [email protected], Reel Affirmations and The DC Center for the LGBT Community host “PRIDE,” the opening-night screening of the 15th annual DC Labor FilmFest; click here for tickets.
