 Tonight's 2017 DC LaborFest Preview program -- tonight at 6p at the Takoma Busboys and Poets -- now includes singers Steve and Peter Jones (right) and FC Solidaridad’s Damon Silver on this year’s DC United Labor Night. The line-up features labor film previews, David Fernandez-Barrial on “Digging Where We Stand: Uncovering Our Own Local Labor Histories,” Gene Bruskin on “Workers in Motion-Stories from the Field,” Candace Wolf with the story of a striking worker at the Stella D’Oro cookie factory in the Bronx, and an open mic. Labor Heritage Foundation Executive Director Elise Bryant co-hosts with LaborFest Director Chris Garlock. Free but RSVP here.
