![]() Maryland state workers will rally tonight against cuts by Governor Hogan. The AFSCME Maryland Council 3 members will protest Hogan’s $144 million cut to education and pay cuts for Maryland state and University employees. “When candidate Larry Hogan asked us for our votes he said he wanted to ‘cut $1.75 billion of waste, fraud and abuse,’” says Council 3. “Instead, he cut 2% from every agency and service and took away a 2% pay raise.” The rally will take place at 7:00 pm in Annapolis.
