CSA Updates: Two Generous Donations, Lots of Food and Golf Tournament Registration Kicks Off8/1/2016
![]() It’s been a busy but productive July for the Community Services Agency, reports Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. Coming off the successful Labor Night at the Nats event on July 22, which raised $6,500 for the Emergency Assistance Fund, the agency received generous donations of $10,000 from ATU Local 689, and $5,000 from FAST. “The excellent and invaluable work of CSA continues to be admired and respected by the entire board of the Food and Allied Services Trades, Metro DC Council,” said FAST president Michael Murphy in the donation letter. “We are confident you will be an excellent steward of these funds and continue the important work on behalf of union families.” In addition, AIL’s George Farenthold delivered 200 pounds of food they had collected from their union clients. CSA’s fun Annual Golf Tournament, its 21st, is now taking registrations for sponsors, foursomes, individual golfers, program book ads and tee signs for the September 26 event. Click here for the registration form, "and come on out to the beautiful, unionized, Enterprise Golf Course to get some exercise with fellow unions, members and supporters," urges McKirchy. photo: AFSCME 2910's 2015 team; photo by Chris Garlock Comments are closed.
