![]() After a union election “tainted” by union-busting activities last year, CWA has won a settlement against General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) in Alexandria, VA. “We knew what management at GDIT was doing was wrong, and we didn't believe we got a fair election,” said customer service professional Sabrina Batts-Hopson. “We feel vindicated by this settlement.” The settlement overturns the results of last year’s election, and forces GDIT to cease illegal union-busting activity. The company in the past has threatened workers with the loss of benefits and claimed only an “act of Congress” could raise workers’ wages. In addition to election-meddling, GDIT has been accused of wage theft by thousands of current and former call center workers. graphic source Comments are closed.
