The Daycon workers stayed together through a strike, lockout, legal battle and tough bargaining in recent years. The new deal includes a union security clause and dues check off as well as wage increases of 2-3% each year. "We're looking forward to working with the new leadership at Daycon," said Local 639 President Tommy Ratliff. "We appreciate the support of the Metro Council and other area unions over the last few years and we'll be there for you too when you need us!"
