 Local labor leaders and activists will join a march celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March March 5-8 in a trip organized by the APRI Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter. “We must not forget!” says DC APRI. The bus to Selma leaves DC on Friday, March 5 and returns on Monday, March 8; the march is on Sunday. Cost per person is $650 and covers the bus to and from Selma, breakfast and dinner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, lodging, and a tour of the Civil Rights Museum on Saturday.
