Assaults on transit workers, the lack of opportunities for construction work in DC and concerns about food and retail workers at National Airport were just a few of the issues raised at last week’s DC COPE meeting. “We want to know what issues District workers and their unions are most concerned about,” says Metro Washington Council Assistant Political/Legislative Coordinator David Dzidzienyo.
