![]() The DC Public Employee Relations Board (PERB) is planning a more concentrated, more PERB-specific training in the coming months, following up on last year's very successful training. “This will be more participatory, geared to issues that frequently arise in PERB cases and in labor-management relations in DC government,” reports Ann Hoffman, a member of PERB. A certificate will be awarded to those who participate regularly in the classes. “There will be homework, but it will not be as hard as your kids' homework,” Hoffman promises. The program is open to union representatives of DC's public sector unions and DC agency representatives. "Especially if you are having problems with your agency, encourage their representatives to attend with you,” she urges “Learning the ropes together could help at least to improve your communication." Watch Union City for the training dates and location or keep an eye on the PERB website. Comments are closed.
