Workers at both the DC Public Service Commission and Office of Administrative Hearings now have union contracts, reports AFSCME Council 20. The workers organized over a year ago, Council 20 Executive Director Andrew Washington says, and their first contracts were just settled a week ago. The 45 workers at the PSC – including electricians, economists and clerks -- are in AFSCME 2401 and the OAH workers – primarily clerks -- are in AFSCME 2776.
