Here’s what metro-area unions have reported they’ll be doing on Election Day; email [email protected] with your local’s plans and we’ll update this report.
AFSCME 1808: Working  with AFSCME Council 20 at the polls in DC. (Anntoinette White-Richardson)
ASASP: Covering two polls for Cheryl Landis for Prince George’s County Board of Education. (Doris Reed)
ATU 689: Will be in Virginia’s District 10 campaigning against Barbara Comstock all day. (David Stephen)
C.H.O.I.C.E: NoVA Labor walks/phones. (Stephen Courtien)
IATSE Local 772: Members are volunteering at the polls in their respective neighborhoods (Lynn Jackson)
SEIU LOCAL 400PG has been phone banking and delivering signs to voters in Prince George’s County Maryland.
Washington/Baltimore Newspaper Guild
: No local plans for election activity because many of the local's members are reporters assigned to cover the elections. On the other hand, many of Guild members work for unions and progressive non-profit organizations who have election assignments from their employers. (Rick Ehrmann)
