After helping score victories like expanded paid sick days and an increased minimum wage this year, the Employment Justice Center is looking to continue the fight for enforcement next year...
“We need to get out into DC neighborhoods and into schools to make sure parents and workers know about their expanded rights in DC!” says Executive Director Barbra Kavanaugh. Donations to the EJC are now worth twice as much, as “a donor has promised that they will donate up to $25,000 to match donations to EJC,” says Kavanaugh. Contribution cover everything from renting a venue for biweekly workers meeting to one-on-one outreach meeting with a worker and organizing a protest or rally. Click here to donate.
