FAST Metro Council Steps Up to the Plate
The Community Services Agency’s ongoing fundraising campaign got a much-needed boost recently when the metro Food and Allied Services Trades Council (FAST), sent in a $10,000 contribution. “CSA ‘s excellent and invaluable work has always been admired and respected by the entire Board of our chapter,” said metro FAST president Michael Murphy (right). “We are sure you will be an excellent steward of these funds and trust you will keep doing your important work on behalf of union families.” CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy thanked metro FAST “for your generous support and shining example” for other area locals, councils, national unions, and union members to make direct contributions as well as members’ designations during their worksite giving campaigns...
FAST Metro Washington Council is made up of Bakery Workers Local 118, UNITE HERE Local 25, UFCW Local 400, Teamsters Local 67 and Operating Engineers Local 99.
