 Cancer is more prevalent amongst fire fighters “and it is our number 1 cause of death,” IAFF Local 36 posted on Facebook yesterday. “Local 36 members are sharing their battles with cancer as the local works with #dc stakeholders to improve cancer presumption legislation. This will allow our members to be better cared for if/when they have to fight cancer. #iaff #CancerAwareness.”
