Newspaper Guild members rallied outside the Washington Post on Thursday, chanting "Stop this condescension, hands off our pension!" They're fighting pension cutbacks and demanding a fair contract (Post “Drops A Bomb” On Guild Contract Talks 9/25 UC). "This is going to be a really long and hard fight," said Fredrick Kunkle, Post unit co-chair at Local 32035. "It's not over yet, but this is a really great start," Kunkle said. The current contract expires at the end of the month.
