IBEW 1900 Steward Training “A Big Success”

A very diverse group of IBEW Local 1900 members attended the IBEW Steward Training course on August 13th. Some 25 Stewards and Chief Stewards from Pepco and NRG spent their Saturday learning about their roles and responsibilities, basic legal guidance for Stewards, how to handle grievances and applying various scenarios to their respective contracts.  “IBEW International Representative Jim Ayrer presented the course and kept all engaged throughout the day,” says Local 1900 president Jim Griffin, who called the training “A big success.”
