![]() Every year over Labor Day weekend, Jews United for Justice asks rabbis to speak from their pulpits about a pressing social justice issue as part of its Labor on the Bimah program. This weekend, the theme is family-friendly workplaces. Tonight at 6:45p, Paid Family Leave Campaign Manager Joanna Blotner will speak about paid leave and fair scheduling at the historic Sixth & I synagogue, and then at 8pm, Sarah Fleish-Fink, from National Partnership for Women and Families, speaks on paid leave at Temple Sinai. Tomorrow morning at 9:15, Madeleine Levin will talk about the minimum wage and earned sick leave at the B'nai Shalom of Olney Congregation. See Calendar above for complete details, and find out more about Jews United for Justice on their website. Comments are closed.
