Local and national labor activists are gearing up for the final forum for candidates for Democratic National Committee Chair, which takes place today and tomorrow in Baltimore. Congressman Keith Ellison (D., MN) has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, and former Secretary of Labor Tom Perez has been endorsed by a number of unions; both are candidates for DNC Chair. Maria Elena Durazo -- Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor -- is running for re-election as a DNC Vice-Chair and has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO.
