“Thanks to the many brothers and sisters who I had the opportunity to work with in Washington, especially my mentors Fred Allen, Josh Williams, the late Dwight Bowman, the late Honorable Marion Barry, Barbara Bailey and Toni Harvey.” In the early ‘80’s Walker was the Constituent Liaison for the late U.S. Representative William Chappell (D-Fl) and says he’s “pleased to be back in Florida reconnecting and establishing and reestablishing relationships with many of the constituents I had the pleasure to serve.” With more than 45,000 dues-paying members, District 5 is AFGE’s largest district.
