| From movie screenings to happy hours and concerts, local labor organizers and activists have been gathering in creative ways recently. Last Thursday, Newspaper Guild 32035 hosted its second monthly “Suds & Solidarity” happy hour at The Big Hunt and Tuesday night the DC LaborFest’s monthly Bread and Roses series -- now at the Takoma park Busboys & Poets -- featured an evening with singer-songwriters Peter and Steve Jones.
