![]() Former Community Services Agency Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy spotted this intriguing sign Wednesday morning while passing through Joliet, Illinois. “At one point, Joliet, just outside of Chicago, had the second largest steel mill in the U.S.,” McKirchy writes. “Its rolled steel rails helped fuel the expansion of railroads in the late 1800's.
