 Local union leaders and members are urged to join DC Councilmember Elissa Silverman at the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development Open House next Monday, February 6th, from 2:00-3:30p in Suite 115 of the John A. Wilson Building. "We value your labor and workforce expertise and hope you can make a special effort to come by to meet the new Committee staff and some of our other labor and workforce partners," says Michele Blackwell, Chief of Staff for Silverman. "This will be an opportunity to meet and hear from a variety of workers, business owners, worker organizations, and residents as we get going in this new Council period," Blackwell added. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required.
