Half a dozen union members and their families were able to stay in their homes last month, three more kept their lights on, and another three got their health insurance reinstated, all thanks to the work of the Metro Washington Council Community Services Agency's Emergency Assistance Fund. "That's why participating in the Labor Night at the Nats, the Golf Tournament and other CSA activities are so important,” said CSA Executive Director Sonte DuCote. “Not only are these events a fun time for union members, but they benefit the Emergency Assistance Fund.” Today’s the last call for tickets to the 2018 Labor Night at the Nats (coming up on July 20). Tickets are $15 each; make checks payable to Community Services Agency and mail to 815 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006, or email [email protected]
