The 24th annual Letter Carriers’ "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive is set for this Saturday, May 14. The food drive, sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), is the world’s largest one-day food drive, taking place in more than 10,000 cities and towns across the country. Leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods such as canned soup; canned vegetables; canned meats and fish; pasta; peanut butter; rice or cereal next to your mailbox on Saturday and your letter carrier will take it from there.
