Local support for striking teachers in West Virginia is growing as the strike enters its second week. The Washington Teachers and UFCW Local 400 are among the DC-area locals that have already stepped up, with WTU asking its members to contribute to the strike fund and Local 400 heavily promoting the strike on social media and meeting with members throughout West Virginia last week.
