![]() The Maryland Center on Economic Policy (MDCEP), a nonpartisan research and policy organization focused on policies that allow all Marylanders to thrive in a healthy economy, last month voluntarily recognized a staff union represented by the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU), the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 70. “We are immensely proud of the work we do as employees of MDCEP,” employees involved in the organizing effort said. “By joining together in a labor union, we aim to foster an equitable workplace and a culture of cooperative problem-solving.
