 The Metro Council’s website and Union City newsletter took home a pair of honors at the International Labor Communications Association's 2019 Labor Media Awards last Friday. UFCW Local 400 collected a third place award for Writing-Best Series (State/Local) for "Local 400 ACTS!" The Metro Council's dclabor.org website took first place in the General Excellence - Blog (State/Local) category and the Union City newsletter won third place in General Excellence - Electronic Publication (State/Local).
