NoVA Labor will be conducting precinct walks for labor-endorsed candidate Kathleen Murphy (right) this weekend; the special election to fill the vacant 34th District House seat is next Tuesday, January 6. “We will be walking this Saturday and Sunday from the NoVA Labor office,” says NoVA Labor’s Dan Duncan. Saturday’s walk starts at 9 am; Sunday’s at 11 am; 4536-B John Marr Drive, Annandale, VA. “As a special incentive for walkers on Sunday, Sister Dolores Gerber has promised to make her delicious and famous breakfast burritos if at least 10 people RSVP,” Duncan adds. NoVA Labor will continue phone banking union households in the district through Election Day; volunteers can make calls from the Annandale office or pick up a sheet from Gerber and make the calls from home.
