NoVA Labor Taps Diamond, Canahui and Forester for Open Seats

​NoVA Labor last Thursday elected Virginia Diamond of UAW 1981 to be its second vice president, and Neri Canahui of Carpenters 197 and Dyana Forester of UFCW 400 to fill the two open seats on its board. Their terms will run until December 31. Nominations for the two-year 2017-18 term for all officers and board members will take place in November with elections scheduled for December. As previously reported, current president Dan Duncan plans to step down at the end of the year.
