A skit produced by OPEIU Local 2 members working at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers International Office drew laughs and a cameo appearance by Metro Washington Council President Jos Williams to kick off this year’s United Way campaign in the union’s auditorium on Nov. 18. The skit’s theme was “Bad things can happen to good people,” and Williams explained how the Council’s Community Services Agency’s commitment to helping area workers extends to “after the workday is over when they return to their families and communities.” Click here for more on how to support CSA.
