 Members of OPEIU Local 2 are inviting other members of the local labor community to join them at the October 28 Walk to End HIV. The Walk supports Whitman-Walker Health’s mission of providing dependable, high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible health care to those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. This is Local 2’s fifth year participating in the walk. “There’s still time to join the team and walk in solidarity with so many of our community partners,” says Local 2’s Chelsea Bland. “If you’re unable to join in the walk, you can still show your support to the cause with a generous donation.” To join the walk or make a pledge, visit the Local 2 page.
