Veteran nurse and author Tim Sheard (right) will discuss his “Lenny Moss” mystery novels at noon today at the AFL-CIO (see Calendar). After writing seven mystery novels featuring hospital custodian-shop steward Lenny Moss, he has launched a publishing company, Hard Ball Press, dedicated to building union strength and rank and file solidarity through publishing honest, accurate stories about work and working class life.
