Additional seats have just been added for Wednesday’s dramatic reading of “Pray for the Dead,” former organizer Gene Bruskin’s “Musical Tale of Morgues, Moguls and Mutiny.” The 7:30p performance will be at the ATU/Tommy Douglass Conference Center (former National Labor College). Admission with RSVP only: $15 donation requested at the door; RSVP to [email protected]. “Pray for the Dead” is a musical about political and corporate corruption told through a story of a morgue workers’ union contract campaign that leads to an unlikely uprising. “Sweeney Todd meets Norma Rae meets Bertolt Brecht.” For more information watch the video here.
