![]() Led by more than 20 members from the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, over 60 union volunteers from 13 different international unions launched the 2016 NoVA Labor Get Out The Vote effort last Saturday. “This was perhaps the largest opening turnout we’ve experienced since we started this program in 1999,” said NoVA Labor President Dan Duncan. “Our folks understand we have got to tell members and their families that Right-to-Work has no place in the Virginia Constitution.” Volunteers distributed "NO ON 1!" materials to more than 500 union households on Saturday. Represented in the walks were AFGE, AFT, CWA, IATSE, IBEW, IAFF, IUOE, the Iron Workers, NATCA, OPEIU, UA, UAW and the UFCW. IBEW 26 donated lunch.
