![]() Local activists are re-launching the local chapter of the Labor Council For Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) this Thursday with a celebration of Latina workers and the legacy of César Chavez which includes a panel discussion, refreshments and music. The free event from 3-5p is hosted by CWA (501 3rd Street NW). “Come learn about the current state of Latina workers while networking with other community and labor leaders,” said Yanira Merino of LIUNA and the LCLAA Organizing Committee.
