Shoppers Workers Build Solidarity

As bargaining continues with Shoppers, UFCW Local 400 reports that the union’s bargaining advisory committee has now “visited every store in the area, spreading the message that we need to stand together and let management know that we need a fair contract NOW!”

And last week during their shop steward seminar, “Kaiser Permanente members showed their solidarity with their Local 400 brothers and sisters from Shoppers by visiting the stores around Landover,” Local 400 reported in their weekly newsletter. A full week of bargaining is scheduled for next week.
