![]() Some 30 worker rights activists shared strategies for achieving decent work in the North Africa/Middle East region at a November 29-December 1 Solidarity Center Forum on Decent Work for Agricultural Women and Domestic Workers. The forum in Casablanca, Morocco, brought together representatives from unions and worker rights organizations in Kuwait, Hong Kong, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco. “What is being talked about is the kind of stuff that is real and when I get back to work, I can speak from a position of strength when advocating for our rights,” says Hanan Laawina, a farm worker from Meknès, Morocco.
