![]() Georgetown students saw a different side of the nation’s capital during the annual Worker Justice DC alternative spring break last month. “I had never once thought about the contrast between the high-rise, luxury apartments that lined one side of the street while the other side consisted of run-down buildings with paint peeling off the sides,” writes Georgetown sophomore Barbara Anne Kozee, reflecting on her experiences during the week of exploring issues of labor and the working poor, sponsored by the Center for Social Justice and the Kalmanovitz Initiative.
