![]() CWA member Jimmy Tarlau is one of four freshmen Maryland delegates who made history recently by joining Women Legislators of Maryland, the nation’s oldest state women’s caucus. Tarlau (D-Prince George’s County), told Washington Post columnist Petula Dvorak that things like equal pay, child care and paid family leave “aren’t just women’s issues; these are issues that affect the whole family.” Tarlau is a member of the Metro Washington Council’s Executive Board. Also joining were Del. Erek L. Barron (D-Prince George’s County), Del. Andrew Platt (D-Montgomery County) and Del. Will Smith (D-Montgomery County); the four are the first men in the nation to join a state women’s caucus. photo courtesy jimmytarlau.net Comments are closed.
