![]() Warning that many individual neighborhood schools “will lose real-dollars funding if the DCPS approach is adopted,” the Washington Teachers Union is urging all concerned parents and families in the District to sign and circulate a petition to fully fund DC schools. “Educators want equitable funding for all schools across the DCPS system,” says WTU 6 president Elizabeth Davis. “We want realistic school budgets that keep up with enrollment trends and rising costs.
