![]() Workers at TW Perry are threatening to walk off the job at the local contractor supply dealer. “We’re holding off at the request of the mediator,” says Teamsters 639 Business Agent Bill Davis, “but the guys are really fed up with the company’s failure to bargain in good faith.” Especially galling was a no-show by TW Perry at a mediation session earlier this week. The company “has repeatedly taken positions that make no sense,” says Davis, “unless they’re trying to avoid coming to an agreement.” The Metro Washington Council and DC Jobs with Justice both sent letters to Perry earlier this month urging a prompt settlement.
