While many area residents were tucked safely away from the frigid air during the recent snowstorm, "a good number of our Local 1994 brothers and sisters were out working," reports UFCW Local 1994, which represents Montgomery County workers. "They cleared our roadways and sidewalks and kept us safe through the weekend and beyond. Some had to sleep in cots and hotels away from their families during this historic storm. They risked their lives to get us reconnected as the snow fell relentlessly. They are heroes in our eyes and we want to say: Thank you for all that you do!"
