![]() Tomorrow’s "Takoma Park Folk Festival: Now & Then" will feature performances by singer-songwriters who have sung at the Festival -- this year celebrating 40 years -- over the decades, many focusing on labor and other social justice issues. The free 90-minute historical and music program will be held this Saturday, June 16, starting at 2p in the Takoma Park Community Center. Labor performers include Luci Murphy & Pam Parker, Steve & Peter Jones, Joe Uehlein & Anna Grace Uehlein, as well as Lilo Gonzalez with daughter Anina and son Camilo. Doors open at 1:30 and the show will also be streamed live on Takoma Park City TV's cable channel. Comments are closed.
