Fairfax County Connector transit workers could strike as early as next Monday. The lengthy struggle for retirement security, safer buses, and parity amongst workers at different locations is coming to a break point in the next 72 hours, reports ATU Local 1764. The union is targeting MV Transportation, the county contractor, and pushing Board Chair Sharon Bulova and the Board of Supervisors to hold MV accountable and settle the contract. Supporters are urged to call Bulova at 703-324-2321 and ask her to support Connector workers and riders. photo: ATU 1764 Contract Committee delivers letter to County Chairman Sharon Bulova's office on March 29
