United Kitchen Workers announced last week that they are prepared to call for a boycott of Union Kitchen stores beginning at 11am on Friday, June 16 in response to management’s ongoing efforts to undermine the workers’ union. “On behalf of the 165 unions that we represent, the Metro Washington Council stands behind these workers as they fight to have a voice on the job like every worker in DC," said Dyana Forester, Metro Washington Council president, at last week's rally.
