![]() After DC Circulator workers won wage parity and safer buses earlier this year, a “vengeful” First Transit struck back last week, firing Flynn “Tiny” Burke (right), a shop steward and the face of the Circulator campaign. “I will use every dime this company has to make sure Tiny doesn’t get his job back,” the First Transit general manager said on Wednesday, reports ATU’s Todd Brogan. The union is demanding that Circulator “end its crackdowns in the garage and put Tiny back to work immediately,” Brogan tells Union City. Click here to sign the petition. Comments are closed.
