 By a 42-8 margin, the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, TNG-CWA Local 32035, won recognition from the nationwide staff of lawyers, fundraisers, communicators and support staff at Lambda Legal, the noted LGTBQ rights group. “We did it — now let’s move forward together,” the organizing committee exulted after the win just before New Year’s Eve. The Lambda Legal win continues a string of WBNG victories among staffs of non-profit progressive organizations, including a help center for victims of sexual abuse and several union staffs.
