Order your ticket(s) for this year’s Labor Night at the Nats and you’ll not only get a chance to root for the hometown win, but you’ll definitely help metro Washington union members. The annual Labor Night at the Nats – June 22 – benefits the Metro Washington Council’s Community Services Agency, which provides resource information, financial assistance and help dealing with layoffs, strikes and government shutdowns. Tickets are $16 each and can be purchased online; to buy 50 or more tickets, email [email protected]. And while most Nats games are televised regionally, Labor Night at the Nats will be televised nationally, providing “a tremendous opportunity to show the nation we are union strong!" says CSA Executive Director Sonte DuCote.
