After weeks of insisting on huge increases to premiums, copays, and other out-of-pocket healthcare expenses, “Kroger finally put forth a proposal that is closer to maintaining our current healthcare benefits,” the union said. Despite this progress, negotiators say they don’t yet have a deal they can recommend and urged members to keep the pressure on, with another day of action at five Kroger stores scheduled for Thursday from 4-6p.
